Time for a quick update (a lot has been going on since the New Year started!) and I’m happy to announce that I have booked the flights to Puerto Rico!! Leaving on the 12th April and returning on the 18th, these dates signify the 2 year mark since the challenge was set.

Yep, that’s it! The official aliveline has been set! A cameraman (lucky git gets a free holiday!) and I will be jetting off to see what results we can get after 2 years of work on the JoshingTalk Submersible project.

The team at Trident Sensors are cracking on with the build, I’m about to book accommodation and I’m in talks with a fantastic group of people in Puerto Rico who will potentially provide the boat.

No pressure please – apart from the forces at work 8,500 metres under the Atlantic ocean….
